Goal for the second release... Well, we will see...

Project history

19.04.2002 - Pierre and me (Kresimir) have registered this project. It all started as I copied some 25GB of holliday movies from my DV camera to my hard disk last summer. Since then I am looking for a way to clean up my HD. After an exhausting search for a decent, free, non-linear video editor I gave up and decided to write my own.

I started looking around for some tools that would make this task easier, and came across avifile library and Pierre's StreamFactory. After finishing initial GUI and learning how some of the stuff from avifile library works I started playing with StreamFactory. Came acrros a bug, mailed Pierre, and he talked me into this...

From now on, it is all his (Pierre's) fault.
